Weekenders & Off-Work Hours

Weekender Defendant
A "weekender" is a defendant who has been sentenced by the court to report to jail on either Saturday or Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. and is ordered to be released the same Saturday or Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Off-Work Hours Defendant
An "off work hour" defendant is sentenced by the court to serve a specified number of days which is determined by the court. Typically, but not always, they serve 3 days per week. Example: Friday 6:00 pm through Sunday 6:00 p.m. each week until the sentence is satisfied. Reporting late, failure to report, or reporting intoxicated will result in a revocation request which will be forwarded to the court.

Defendants serving “weekend” time or “off-work hours” must report to the lobby at 49 San Jacinto.
