| Network/Desktop Support Section
The Network/Desktop Support Section is made up of four sections, Management, Web Development, Server Operations, and Desktop Support. Each section plays a vital role in supporting computing hardware and software connected to the Sheriff's Network and in developing and maintaining applications on the Sheriff’s Web site.
The Sheriff's Network is one of the largest networks in Harris County Government. Increased communication between employees through email, increased productivity through minimum downtime, data integrity, network security, increasing the user's level of computing knowledge, and sound technical advice to all command levels, are the caveats of this group of dedicated employees.
The 8 full-time personnel assigned to this division have a combined total of over 108 years of experience in Electronics, Computer, and Networking Technology.
